Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, has issued an official notice dated 22 October 2026 regarding the rescheduling of the Carry Over Examination 2026 for selected subjects originally scheduled for 24 October 2026. According to the university circular, the affected examinations under the academic session 2025–26 have been postponed to Monday, 2 November 2026, as per the revised examination schedule attached to the notice.

The university has taken this decision in view of the Air Show scheduled in Varanasi on 24 and 25 October 2026, the expected attendance of a large number of people, possible traffic restrictions, and changes to traffic routes. These circumstances could cause transportation difficulties for students and university staff travelling to examination centres.
