AKTU ABC ID 2026–27: Mandatory Aadhaar Verification & ERP Update

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, has issued an official circular dated 24 October 2026 making the creation and updating of the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID mandatory for all students enrolled in the academic session 2026–27, including students already studying in affiliated institutions. The notice directs colleges to ensure that every student’s ABC ID is available, correctly updated, and verified on the university’s ERP portal.

Important Points of the AKTU ABC ID Circular 2026–27:

• Mandatory ABC ID Creation: All students who have not yet created their Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID must generate it immediately.
• ABC ID Update on the ERP Portal: Students who already have an ABC ID must ensure that their correct and complete details are updated and verified on the AKTU University ERP portal.
• Aadhaar Details Verification: Students must verify the accuracy of their name, date of birth, and other required details on their Aadhaar card. Any errors or discrepancies must be corrected through the appropriate authority.
• ABC ID Required for Examination Forms: The university has made ABC ID availability and verification on the ERP portal mandatory for filling out upcoming odd-semester examination forms. Missing or incorrect information may create technical difficulties and prevent students from completing the examination form process within the prescribed timeline.
• NAD-DigiLocker Academic Records: The university uses NAD-DigiLocker for making students’ academic records and examination results available. An unavailable or incorrectly updated ABC ID may cause difficulties in linking and accessing these records.
• Deadline: 31 October 2026: Affiliated institutions must ensure that ABC ID creation, ERP updates, verification, and the required Aadhaar-related checks are completed by 31 October 2026.
• Responsibility of Colleges: Directors and Principals of affiliated institutions have been instructed to prioritize this work and ensure that no student is deprived of the upcoming examination form process due to an uncreated ABC ID or incomplete information.

The circular further states that institutions may be held responsible for administrative and academic difficulties arising from failure to complete these requirements within the prescribed deadline, including issues related to examination forms and the availability of academic records through NAD-DigiLocker.

All AKTU students are advised to confirm their ABC ID status with their college, verify that their ABC ID and Aadhaar details are accurate, and ensure that the required information is correctly updated on the university ERP portal before the deadline.
