AKTU–Softpro India MoU 2026: Technical Training & Placement Opportunities

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Softpro India Computer Technologies (P) Ltd., Lucknow, on 30 October 2026 to strengthen industry–academia collaboration, promote technical skill development, provide experiential learning opportunities, and enhance students’ employability. Through this collaboration, AKTU-affiliated colleges can participate in various academic, technical, and career-oriented activities in coordination with Softpro India.

Under the MoU, interested affiliated colleges can register their requirements for organizing the following programmes and activities:

Important Activities Under the AKTU–Softpro India MoU:

1. Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs): Industry-oriented training and professional development programmes for faculty members through online, offline, and hybrid modes.
2. Centre of Excellence (CoE): Establishment of Centres of Excellence and incubation centres to encourage technological innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship.
3. Technical Workshops: Hands-on workshops focusing on emerging technologies and industry-relevant technical skills.
4. Technical Seminars and Expert Sessions: Guest lectures, expert talks, and interactive technical sessions conducted by industry experts.
5. Skill Development Programmes: Industry-oriented training to improve students’ practical knowledge and technical competencies.
6. Project-Based Learning: Practical projects, assessments, and experiential learning activities to provide hands-on experience.
7. Placement Assistance and Career Development: Placement assistance, career guidance, employability training, and industry interaction to improve students’ career opportunities.
8. Other Collaborative Activities: Technical training, live or physical sessions, and other mutually agreed academic and industry-oriented initiatives.

• MoU Signing Date: 30 October 2026.
• MoU Validity: Three years, from 30 October 2026 to 29 October 2029.
• Eligible Institutions: Colleges affiliated or associated with AKTU.
• Programme Modes: Online, Offline, and Hybrid.
