Bioinformatics (BI)

From the 2026-27 session, AKTU B.Tech first-year Bioinformatics (BI) follows the BT stream (Biotechnology) syllabus: Physics of Materials and Biomaterials, Applied Chemistry for Biomolecules and Bioprocess Systems, Calculus and Linear Algebra, Calculus and Numerical Methods, Programming Languages, Introduction to AI & Prompt Engineering and the other subjects common to all branches. The branch focuses on biological data, genomics and computational biology from the second year.
