From the 2026-27 session, AKTU B.Tech first-year Food Technology (FT) follows the CH stream (Chemical Engineering) syllabus: Physics of Process Engineering Materials, Applied Chemistry for Process Engineering and Industrial Applications, Differential Calculus and Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus and Numerical Methods, Programming Languages, Introduction to AI & Prompt Engineering and the other subjects common to all branches. The branch focuses on food processing, preservation and quality from the second year.
